Frigidaire Gallery fridge repair of main circuit board

We have a somewhat old and aging Frigidaire Gallery (FGHS2332LEO) fridge. It's worked quite well, but a few days ago the display turned to a "SY CE"where it normal shows temperatures, and although it was still working at the time, I woke up today to it seemingly restarting. Lights would come on, compressor would start, then it went dark, and repeated.

The control board for this is rather expensive ($500 USD), so it was starting to feel like this might be a new fridge situation. But I pulled the main curcuit board, and quite obviously there was a blown cap (the middle one of the group of three has a bit of bulge on top).

I broke out the solldering iron, and removed the 35V 470uf cap, and replaced it with a new 50V 1000uf cap which is the closest I had. It's a bit big for the spot (didn't get a picture of it installed), but it fits well enough.

Plugged it all back in, and it seems to be working just fine again now. Probably should have replaced the other caps as well, but they did look fine physically, so I replaced just that one.
